Children's publishing has its own rules — page-count conventions (24/32/48-page picture books), reading-level and vocabulary bands, illustration-to-text pacing, trim sizes that survive little hands — and we run the whole pipeline: manuscript edit, illustration, layout, ISBN and metadata, full-color printing, and retail listing, all registered in your name.

Do I need to already have an illustrator?▸
No — most clients arrive with just the manuscript. We match you with an illustrator whose style fits your story's age band and tone, and you approve character and cover concepts before full art production starts.
Who owns the illustrations once the book is done?▸
You do. Illustration rights are assigned to you as part of the project the same way manuscript rights are — this is a stated commitment, not an upsell you have to negotiate for later.
What age range can you actually write and design for?▸
Board books (0–3), picture books (3–8), and early readers/chapter-book crossovers (6–9) — each has different vocabulary bands, page-turn pacing, and trim conventions, and the edit and layout are built to the one your book falls into.
Is my manuscript kept confidential before the book is public?▸
Yes — an NDA is signed before any manuscript or character concept is shared with an illustrator or anyone outside your assigned team.
Can you handle a series, not just one book?▸
Yes — series continuity (recurring characters, consistent illustration style, matching trim and branding across titles) is scoped as part of the brief when you tell us more than one book is planned.
